The Malaspina Naturalist Club welcomes all residents and visitors interested in the flora, fauna and geology of our beautiful British Columbia temporate rainforest.  We are associate members of the Federation of BC Naturalists.


Meetings:

Meetings are held at The United Church Hall - 6932 Crofton Street. Social gathering at 7:00; meeting and speaker at 7:30 pm. Meetings are scheduled at the speakers convenience. The club hosts about 10 meetings a year.

Activities:

- field trips and birding field trips

- community learning programs and local nature research

Membership Fees:

The annual membership runs from October to September.
Individuals - $10.00
Families    - $20.00


Event notices are sent to members twice monthly around the 1st and 15th of the month. Members with e-mail will receive notices by email. Other members will be phoned by the phone committee.

Speaker Events are published in the Around Town section of the Powell River Peak's Weekend Shopper.

Field Trips:are generally held on a monthly basis and are usually for members only.  A field trip is scheduled to follow a speaker event whenever possible.
